$3.00 Easter wreath

This is an Easter Wreath someone had asked me to make for them to hang up at Easter last yr. I had so many people ask me to make them for them I figured I would post up a HOW TO for everyone.
Start with a wreath of any size that you choose. I found mine at the Dollar Tree!

You can pre arrange your flowers and greenery before you glue your eggs on. I opted to NOT do it with the wreath below but if you do you can see how easy it would be to twist them into the wreath without the eggs in the way.
Next you add in your eggs in any pattern you like using hot glue.
Then Tie on a ribbon and add some flowers with hot glue and DA TA all done!

Fabric Blocks

This is one of 5 fabric blocks I made for our sweet little one.

Fabric Ladybug

I got this pattern out of a book but will be putting up a walk threw soon.

Fabric and Bead Neckless

This is so easy to make you will laugh as I did when you see.

Sweet Layered Skirt

My friend found this idea on line so we both made one for our daughters. EASIEST SKIRT EVER!!! I will gladly put a link up to the original site if aksed.

Baby Onsie Into 2 Piece Outfit

I thought this was just the cutest idea ever and a great way to make your favorite onsie that these babies grow out of so fast last a little longer. I am planning on making another one soon and will put a walk threw up!

Quilters Block Pin Coushion

This was such an easy project I made a bunch of them and gave them away as little gifts to some of my friends. I Love quilting and I always found myself struggling to find my round "tomato" pin cushion because it would roll off the table. I will gladly do a walk threw tutorial on this if interested.

A Breakfast Portrait

My son needed to do a homework project made out of real food that he could take to his class that depicted a meal he would eat everyday. SO I took some powdered milk, some fruit loops and some bread crumbs and this is what we made!

Heart Cake

This is a heart cake that my 5 yr old son decorated. He wanted to make a heart cake for valentines day I of course agreed to do so thinking that with him being 5 he will change his mind or forget.  Once I was reminded that MY 5 yr old never seems to forget anything I then realized that we do not have a heart pan. I remembered an old trick my mom once taught me. You can take a normal square cake pan and a round cake pan and turn it into a heart! You bake both cakes using either a store bought cake mix or a homemade mix. Divide the batter equally into the two pans and bake as you normally would. You then turn the cakes out to cool on a rack. Once cooled you cut the circle into two equal pieces and place them on two sides of the square cake. Ice your cake (or do as I did and allow the 5 yr old to ice the cake) add a few sprinkles and TA DA!!! Heart cake! Hope your little ones have as much fun as mine did!

Pink and Brown Cross Tee

This is a shirt my 10 year old daughter made all by herself (with a little help @ the sewing machine of course)
I got this idea from one of my all time favorite TV shows called "Shes Crafty" all though the idea has been around for many yrs as I remember making one of these shirts myself as a child.
I will be posting a step by step guide to this pretty soon.

FIRST BLOG

Tonight as I was surfing threw the web in my flannel pants looking for yet another craft or sewing project to add to my increasingly large pile of "to do crafts" I realized I don't have a blog! It seems easy enough to create one so I figured I would quit stealing everyone Else's crafting and sewing ideas and post some of my own. Having 3 children with such a large age gap in between I found it hard to go to just one site and find something for each of my children to do on one day. SO I decided I would try my best to make my own. Please bear with me as I give myself a crash course at your expense. HOPEFULLY before too long I will get the hang of this and my page will be one you will want to add to your favorites and check back each day. Feel free to leave me any suggestions you might have.
